Mystic is minor mood, in which two of the seven tones from the minor series are skipped. These are the minor second and minor sixth. So you play with five of the seven notes.

This gives Mystic A beautifully open and, the name says it all, mystical character. A beautiful and dreamy mood that easily steers towards different moods.

Mystic is a fine tuning for intuitive playing. By skipping two notes - the minor second and minor sixth - creates a nice open mood with mostly tones passing by that blend nicely. This mood is akin in structure to Amara or Celtic Minor, but is relative to these moods a bit more dramatic and mystical in nature.

Even with free play, the chance of a beautiful and harmonious match is therefore very high. This makes this structure a friendly and inviting mood, which invites a grateful way of exploring your handpan.

High Chrome Titanium Stainless Steel
High Chrome Titanium Stainless Steel is a stainless steel-based material inspired by the sounds of Ember Steel.

It is a material that shows especially strong similarities to Ember Steel: an above-average long reverb, with a sound that reproduces both a nice deep long as well as a fresh and sparkling high.

High Chrome Titanium Stainless Steel often has a slightly warmer and rounder character than Ember Steel. The top high, which can be recognised by a sparkling or bright sound, is often present just a little more subtly than with Ember Steel. Sometimes this is also due to a slightly thicker shell, which also affects the sound of each material.

  • Sync Pro D Low-Mystic 9 - Ember Steel

Low-Mystic is a deep tuning based on pentatonics. In pentatonics, the scale is built from the five main notes of the scale. Low Mystic starts on the third note of the scale (the third) instead of the fifth note of the scale (the fifth). This lower starting point gives this tuning a deep and grounded character. A nice tuning for players who enjoy a dreamy character.
