Nordlys is a relatively young tuning. It is a tuning based around low bass tones, and is usually in F2 or F#2. These deep bass tones are combined with an upbeat and fresh scale, which still ends surprisingly high due to the higher number of pitches!
Nordlys is built from the lydian scale. Lydian is related to major, which is known for its upbeat character.
The difference between major and lydian is that lydian has a slightly more dreamy and magical character. This addition of dreamy tones makes it a colourful scale, which is very imaginative.
Nordlys is a key that appeals quickly, and has a distinct character of its own. The key is almost always accompanied by a low root tone, and several bottom tones. These bottom tones consist of three extra bass tones toe - which add grounding and warmth to your playing - and three treble tones - which add extra sparkle, and broaden the number of melodic possibilities considerably.

High Chrome Titanium Stainless Steel is a stainless steel-based material inspired by the sounds of Ember Steel.
It is a material that shows especially strong similarities to Ember Steel: an above-average long reverb, with a sound that reproduces both a nice deep long as well as a fresh and sparkling high.
High Chrome Titanium Stainless Steel often has a slightly warmer and rounder character than Ember Steel. The top high, which can be recognised by a sparkling or bright sound, is often present just a little more subtly than with Ember Steel. Sometimes this is also due to a slightly thicker shell, which also affects the sound of each material.
