La Sirena is a fairly young tuning within the handpans scene, and truly a unique tuning. It is a doric build-up, and the only one of its kind. Doric has a strong character, giving a mysterious, dreamy and jazzy sound.
A tuning that is very popular within the jazz scene, and is also finding more and more fans within the handpans scene. The tones of the La Sirena tuning fit well together, but at the same time sometimes give a positively unexpected twist to your playing.
If you like dreamy characters, La Sirena might just be the right mood for you!
Ember Steel
Ember Steel is a material based on stainless steel, with modifications made to affect the sound. These modifications also affect its appearance, giving Ember Steel its distinctive reddish-brown copper colour.
Ember Steel is characterised by an above-average reverb, with tones that articulate a broad spectrum. Ember Steel gives nice deep lows, but at the same time has quite a present high.
You can recognise this by a warm sound, with lots of sparkling highs at the same time. This broad spectrum, combined with that characteristic long reverb, makes Ember Steel an ideal material for some slower, meditative and calming playing.

SYNC hand pans are the result of years of experience and continued development of knowledge and materials. SYNC hand pans use only the best metal combined with a unique nitration recipe. Not surprisingly, these hand pans are very popular. The nitration process ensures strength and stability in the metal, positively affects the timbre and makes the instrument well protected against corrosion. The name comes from the term “Synchronise” and that's exactly what you can do with these harmonic handpans: snatch your moment, reset for a moment and ‘synchronise’.
