Harp bowl HS7012

The harp bowl is a very accessible instrument designed primarily for relaxation. It produces beautiful, soothing sounds and has soft, rounded shapes. The harp bowls produced are all unique, not only because they are handmade but also due to the versatility of the wood. The locally sourced wood used varies each time and often influences the design, the sound and the appearance of the instrument. You simply place the harp bowl on your lap to create some soothing sounds for yourself or for someone else. The harp bowls are, of course, also suitable for use by sound and music therapists, thanks to their accessible design and the opportunities they offer for ensemble playing.
The lyre bowls are similar to harp bowls, but have metal strings, which give them their own unique sound and atmosphere.

The HS 7012 has a wide pentatonic range, making it particularly well-suited to meditative music. This harp model has a more compact and rounded soundboard. It is tuned in a pentatonic scale ranging from F3 to the high G5 (f – g”).
This singing bowl can be used for meditation, either on your own or in a small group, but it’s also ideal for simply taking a moment to yourself whilst relaxing on the sofa.

This model is made from locally sourced sycamore wood, providing a stable base with a lovely round tone. The strings are positioned so that they taper slightly towards one another, in groups of two and three, to facilitate easy orientation on the pentatonic fretboard.
