You don’t just hear a gong – you feel it. A single gentle strike produces a sound that continues to grow and change. At first, you might hear a deep fundamental tone, then more and more overtones begin to emerge. If you play the gong in a different spot or with a different mallet, you’ll discover a whole new sound.

In our KlankShop, you’ll find various types and sizes of gongs, each with its own character. From gongs with a deep, warm tone to those rich in clear overtones. We select and import our gongs directly from the makers and suppliers, which enables us to offer exceptional instruments at a great price.

The handmade WOM Gongs from Italy hold a special place within our collection. Each WOM Gong is crafted by hand, one by one, making it a unique instrument. Even within the same size, each gong has its own distinctive tone. Some WOM Gongs are subtle and delicate, whilst others are powerful, deep and rich in overtones.

But as far as we’re concerned, choosing a gong isn’t something you do just by looking at it or based on a description. You have to hear it. Feel what happens when you strike it gently, discover how the sound spreads through the room, and experience different gongs side by side.
