Morning Glory is a diatonic tuning, meaning that all notes in the scale come before it. In this, it is the same as Kurd, but the latter is in minor instead of major.
Another difference, and something that really stands out when you play on a Morning Glory, is that the tone sequence after the ding starts on the fourth note (the fourth) instead of the fifth (the fifth). Starting a tone lower than usual creates a very distinct and unique sound palette.
Morning Glory is also sometimes called Ashakiran or Sabye. Different names, but exactly the same mood!

Ember Steel is characterised by an above-average reverb, with tones that articulate a broad spectrum. Ember Steel gives nice deep lows, but at the same time has quite a present high.
You can recognise this by a warm sound, with lots of sparkling highs at the same time. This broad spectrum, combined with that characteristic long reverb, makes Ember Steel an ideal material for some slower, meditative and calming playing.
