Low-Mystic is a deep tuning based on pentatonics. In pentatonics, the scale is built from the five main notes of the scale. Low Mystic starts on the third note of the scale (the third) instead of the fifth note of the scale (the fifth). This lower starting point gives this tuning a deep and grounded character. A nice tuning for players who enjoy a dreamy character.
Ember Steel
Ember Steel is a material based on stainless steel, with modifications made to affect the sound. These modifications also affect its appearance, giving Ember Steel its distinctive reddish-brown copper colour.
Ember Steel is characterised by an above-average reverb, with tones that articulate a broad spectrum. Ember Steel gives nice deep lows, but at the same time has quite a present high.
You can recognise this by a warm sound, with lots of sparkling highs at the same time. This broad spectrum, combined with that characteristic long reverb, makes Ember Steel an ideal material for some slower, meditative and calming playing.
